About the Role

The overview.

Fugitive Studios is looking for a web developer to help maintain and grow this site as the studio scales — new features, tools for the team, integrations with our community platforms.

It's volunteer work while the studio is small, but the codebase is clean, the design is done, and this is a real portfolio piece with a shipped indie game studio's name attached.

Responsibilities

Build new pages and features on the existing Next.js site.
Help wire up integrations (Discord widgets, Steam data, community forums).
Improve site performance, accessibility, and SEO.
Keep dependencies current and infrastructure healthy.

What We're Looking For

Comfortable with React, Next.js (App Router), TypeScript.
Tailwind proficiency.
Git / GitHub workflow.
Ability to work with a design system rather than reinventing it.

Nice to Have

MDX / content-driven site experience.
Vercel deployment experience.
Analytics / SEO chops.
Prior open-source contributions.
